Overview

The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardized college admission test widely used in the United States. It assesses students’ readiness for college and provides colleges with a common data point to evaluate applicants. The SAT consists of three main sections: Reading, Writing and Language, and Mathematics.

An optional Essay section is also available, but it has been discontinued by many colleges.
